Hulk Hogan’s son has paid tribute to his father in a heartbreaking post, following his sudden death earlier this week.<\/p>\n
The wrestling<\/a> icon,whose real name is Terry Bollea, died on Thursday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Clearwater mansion in Florida. Reports claim that medics were sent to Hulk’s home after getting a call regarding someone suffering an alleged cardiac arrest. Hulk was 71 years old.<\/p>\n Hulk<\/a> shared two children \u2013 daughter, Brooke and son Nick \u2013 with ex wife Linda Hogan. He was the most kind, loving and amazing father anybody could ask for. I feel so blessed to have had the greatest dad in the world. He was not only the best dad but also my mentor and my best friend.<\/p>\n “He always has been my best friend and I love him and miss him more than I could ever explain. I thanked him for everything he has ever done for me and told him how much I loved him and hugged him every chance I got. I spent a lot of time with him the past few years after moving back to Florida to be closer to him and I am so grateful for those memories. They are the best moments in my life.<\/p>\n “I would do anything to have him back but I know now that he will always be watching over me. I will always remember the lessons and advice he gave me and carry on in a way that I know would make him proud. Thank you for being the best dad in the world and thank you for being my best friend. I love you so much Big Dog and I will miss you forever.”<\/p>\n On Friday, in the first live event since his death, the WWE<\/a> remembered Hogan in a poignant memorial before kicking off SmackDown. Wrestling great Triple H, who now works as the company’s chief content officer, paid homage to his former colleague before a traditional 10-bell salute was held in his memory.<\/p>\n Triple H, whose real name is Paul Levesque, said: “Ladies and gentleman, yesterday we lost one of the biggest and most globally recognized icons in the world<\/a>.”<\/p>\n A number of WWE figures looked visibly emotional during the 10-bell salute, including his former manager Jimmy Hart, who was seen wiping away tears.
