A new week is dawning, the temperature is (rapidly!) dropping and that means we\u2019re in need of a generous dose of brilliant TV<\/a> to cosy up with. And the good news is, we\u2019ve found it. We\u2019ve had a sneak preview of all the great shows coming our way this week and we’ve narrowed them down to the ones you really can\u2019t miss. <\/p>\n

To start with, there\u2019s a sensational crime thriller on the cards in the form of Bay of Fire\u2019s eagerly anticipated second series. We\u2019ve also finally got the Stranger Things finale (part 1 of 3), an excellent detective drama that\u2019s made its way across the pond and a forgotten police drama making its Netflix debut. So, forget the winter blues because these are the 7 unmissable TV shows to watch this week on ITV, Netflix, the BBC and more.

Sherlock<\/a> fans will enjoy this series, which has already been a big hit with US audiences. Dr. John Watson (Morris Chestnut) is our main protagonist who\u2019s forced to strike out on his own after the murder of his best friend and detective partner Sherlock Holmes at the hands of his arch-nemesis Moriarty. Set six years after Sherlock\u2019s death, he\u2019s since decided to retire from the world of crime and resume his career as a top doctor at a clinic treating rare disorders. But he hasn\u2019t quite shaken off his former life and soon finds himself turning his attention to solving mind-boggling medical mysteries. Arriving on Sky Witness and NOW on Monday 24th November. <\/p>\n

Stranger Things \"stranger<\/p>\n

Almost a decade after we entered Hawkins, Indiana, the finale is being drawn out in three parts over two months \u2013 and the first is finally here. Series 5 is set a year after the events of the last one, and the hunt is on for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), forcing her back into hiding. The group are also trying to find and kill Vecna, which isn\u2019t exactly easy when Hawkins is placed under military quarantine. Arriving on Netflix<\/a> on Thursday 27th November. <\/p>\n

Bay of Fires\"from<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

The Aussie crime thriller is making a very welcome return. If you\u2019re not familiar, at the heart of the show is high-flying CEO Stella (Marta Dusseldrop), who unexpectedly finds herself in a small, remote community in Tasmania. And it\u2019s not exactly the kind of place they put on postcards \u2013 think simmering feuds, crime and sometimes, murder. Betrayed and in danger, she has no other option but to trust a stranger who claims to be on her side, accept a new name she hates (Stella Heikkinen), and move her family to Mystery Bay, By series 2, Stella\u2019s risen up the ranks to become the de facto leader of Mystery Bay, which is going well \u2013 until she finds herself dealing with a drug lord and a doomsday cult. Series 2 is arriving on ITVX<\/a> on Sunday 30th November<\/p>\n

We\u2019re a few weeks into the 10th instalment of the hit Scottish crime drama \u2013 and if you haven\u2019t yet tuned in, there\u2019s still time to catch up. DI Ruth Calder (Ashley Jensen<\/a>) and DI Alison \u2018Tosh\u2019 MacIntosh (Alison O\u2019Donnell) are back and have found themselves in the isolated hamlet of Lunniswick to investigate the sinister killing of an elderly woman. The body of the retired social worker has been out in the elements for a number of days, raising many questions. Continues on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 9pm on Wednesday 26th November.

If you\u2019re a fan of Grey\u2019s Anatomy or The Good Doctor, it\u2019s well worth giving Doc a go. The US medical drama is based on the Italian series Doc \u2013 Nelle tue mani, and stars Molly Parker as Dr. Amy Larsen, who has had the last eight years of her life erased due to a brain injury. The story is actually inspired by the true story of Dr. Pierdante Piccioni, who forgot the previous 12 years of his life following a car accident, and it makes for excellent TV. A brilliantly compelling series. Series 2 is arriving on Sky Witness and NOW on Wednesday 26th November.<\/p>\n

The Red Road \"jason<\/p>\n

Jason Momoa\u2019s acclaimed police drama has officially landed on Netflix. Martin Henderson plays officer Harold Jensen, who’s struggling to keep his family together while policing two clashing communities: one is small town where he grew up just outside of New York, the other is the neighbouring mountains that are home to a federally unrecognised Native American tribe. It\u2019s the latter that leads him to tribe member and dangerous ex-con Phillip Kobus (Momoa) and the start of an uneasy alliance. Available to watch now on ITVX. <\/p>\n

Cuffs\"cuffs\"<\/p>\n

BBC<\/p>\n

An oldie but a goodie, Cuffs<\/a> originally aired on the BBC in 2015 and now it\u2019s making its Netflix debut. Set in Brighton, the eight-part series follows members of the fictional South Sussex Police service as they grapple with local crimes and their fair share of personal dilemmas. One day, they’re breaking up naturists fighting on the beach and the next, they’re attempting to placate an elderly farmer\u2019s wife who\u2019s brandishing a shotgun. A police drama that never gets dull. Arriving on Netflix on Friday 28th November. <\/p>\n
