Vitalii Mykolenko is surely set to leave Everton in the coming months as David Moyes eyes the signature of Caio Henrique.<\/p>\n
The Ukrainian left-back\u2019s long-term future at the Hill Dickinson Stadium<\/a> has been in doubt for weeks.<\/p>\n Questions have bene asked of Mykolenko\u2019s ability at Everton<\/a> and whether he is capable of taking them to the next level.<\/p>\n As it stands, Mykolenko is set to leave Everton<\/a> in the summer when his contract expires, and given the recent rumours regarding Henrique<\/a>, it is hard to see how the Ukrainian stays at the Merseyside club.<\/p>\n It was reported by ESPN<\/a> on 20 November that Everton<\/a> are interested in Henrique.<\/p>\n The full-back currently plays for both Monaco and the Brazilian national team, with his contract set to expire in 2027.<\/p>\n Henrique has been linked to Everton before<\/a>, with the Toffees eyeing the left-back in January 2022.<\/p>\n Henrique joined Monaco in 2020He has since made 190 appearances for the Ligue 1 clubHenrique is now a Brazilian international, with five caps to date<\/p>\n However, this interest appears to be renewed, with the report claiming that both Everton and West Ham have contacted the player\u2019s representatives with the intention of understanding the conditions of a deal.<\/p>\n Henrique is highly rated at Monaco, with his former manager Adi Hutter labelling the full-back as \u201cfantastic\u201d to Monaco Tribune<\/a> on 17 March.<\/p>\n While Henrique is not expected to leave the Ligue 1 side at present due to it potentially affecting his place in the World Cup squad, this surely indicates that Mykolenko<\/a> is on his way out.<\/p>\n This Caio Henrique x Mika Biereth connection \u26a1\ufe0f<\/p>\n 2\ufe0f\u20e3 \u2013 2\ufe0f\u20e3 #AJAASM<\/a> pic.twitter.com\/6K5qe5EjyQ<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 AS Monaco EN \ud83c\uddf2\ud83c\udde8 (@AS_Monaco_EN) August 3, 2025<\/a> <\/p>\n The fact that Everton are scouting for new left-backs and making contact to see if they are available shows that the Ukrainian\u2019s time at Merseyside is coming to an end.<\/p>\n There is no way that Mykolenko would sign a new contract to sit on the bench, especially as an international reaching the peak of his career. Therefore, an exit sooner rather than later seems inevitable.<\/p>\n Which other contracts at Everton are set to expire in the summer?<\/p>\n On top of Mykolenko, Everton have multiple players who are set to depart in the summer.<\/p>\n Michael Keane and Seamus Coleman are perhaps the biggest names, with the former star playing a big role so far this campaign.<\/p>\n Idrissa Gueye\u2019s contract is also up.
