Meanwhile, multiple game scoopers reacted to the news with each of them confirming that \u201cIntergalactic\u201d won\u2019t release in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>That means Naughty Dog won\u2019t be launching the game until 2027, the same year that the PS6 is expected to launch.  Their latest game, \u201cThe Last of Us Part II,\u201d launched just a few months before the PS5 hit shelves.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIntergalactic: The Heretic Prophet\u201d follows Jordan A. Mun (Tati Gabrielle), a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on Sempiria \u2013 a distant planet whose communication with the outside universe went dark hundreds of years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Creator Neil Druckmann says while \u201cThe Last of Us\u201d games were about grief, this one will be about faith.
