{"id":280159,"date":"2025-11-24T06:35:10","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T06:35:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/280159\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T06:35:10","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T06:35:10","slug":"metroid-prime-4-beyond-demo-now-available-at-switch-2-kiosks-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/280159\/","title":{"rendered":"Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Demo Now Available At Switch 2 Kiosks (US)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"Metroid Prime 4: Beyond\" href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/8000c8c8cbf8a\/metroid-prime-4-beyond.large.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/metroid-prime-4-beyond.900x.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" alt=\"Metroid Prime 4: Beyond\"\/><\/a> Image: Nintendo<\/p>\n<p>Nintendo has been promoting the Switch 2 in stores with kiosks, where you can go and play the latest and upcoming titles.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve already seen games such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/donkey-kong-bananza\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Donkey Kong Bananza<\/a> added to these store units, and now, in a very exciting update, it seems <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/metroid-prime-4-beyond-nintendo-switch-2-edition\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Metroid Prime 4: Beyond &#8211; Nintendo Switch 2 Edition<\/a> is playable at select locations in the US.<\/p>\n<p>This demo has been <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Metroid\/comments\/1p4tohg\/got_to_play_the_metroid_prime_4_demo\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">spotted at Walmart and other stores<\/a>, and apparently has a time limit of 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;SBelmont&#8217; via r\/NintendoSwitch: &#8220;I played it myself once already. It&#8217;s has a 20 minute time limit but I reached the &#8220;end&#8221; around 13 minutes in. It&#8217;s a small portion of the prologue that takes place at a Federation base being attacked by Space Pirates before going to the new planet. Apparently it&#8217;s the same demo that they had at Gamescom.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/NintendoSwitch\/comments\/1p4btph\/metroid_prime_4_demo_now_available_on_switch_2\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Metroid Prime 4 demo now available on Switch 2 kiosks at Walmart and other stores<\/a><br \/>by<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/SBelmont\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">u\/SBelmont<\/a> in<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/NintendoSwitch\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NintendoSwitch<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, if you happen to be located in the US and have a store nearby with one of these Switch 2 kiosks, you may want to head over and check it out. Nintendo hasn&#8217;t announced an eShop demo for this title, so a store visit is currently the only way to get a sample of the action right now.<\/p>\n<p>Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for Switch 2 and Switch arrives next month on 4th December 2025.
