{"id":280985,"date":"2025-11-24T17:50:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T17:50:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/280985\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T17:50:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T17:50:11","slug":"andor-budget-now-up-to-698-3-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/280985\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Andor&#8221; Budget Now Up To $698.3 Million"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/andor-budget-now-up-to-698-3-million.jpg\" data-caption=\"Lucasfilm\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"464\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/andor-budget-now-up-to-698-3-million.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"andor-budget-now-up-to-698-3-million\"\/><\/a>Lucasfilm<\/p>\n<p>Disney has revealed that the cost of making its highly acclaimed \u201cStar Wars\u201d streaming series \u201cAndor\u201d has now risen to $698.3 million over its two seasons after it spent a further $60.5 million in 2024 on final weeks of filming and much of the post-production of the show\u2019s second season reports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/carolinereid\/2025\/11\/22\/disney-spent-more-on-andor-than-any-of-its-star-wars-movies\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Forbes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Going through recently disclosed and publicly filed records, the budget takes into account everything spent on production of the series through to November 22nd 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Millions more from final post-production and release costs this year are expected to be added to the total when those results are released next year.
