Premier League leaders Arsenal sent out a statement to their title rivals on Sunday as they beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 in the North London derby.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The hosts took the lead at The Emirates courtesy of Leandro Trossard, who controlled the ball superbly before finding the bottom corner courtesy of a deflection.<\/p>\n

Eberechi Eze then doubled the Gunners\u2019 lead before the break, and then added a third in the second half.<\/p>\n

Richarlison\u2019s opportunistic lob over David Raya temporarily gifted Spurs\u2019 supporters hope, but that was quickly dashed as Eze completed his hat-trick and secured all three points for the league leaders.<\/p>\n

Next up for Mikel Arteta\u2019s side is a game against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, before they face London rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, it has emerged that one member of Arteta\u2019s squad is unlikely to depart The Emirates in January despite a lack of playing time.<\/p>\n

As per GiveMeSport<\/a>, Arsenal are not prepared to allow Myles Lewis-Skelly to leave the club during the upcoming mid-season transfer window.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old is a product of Arsenal\u2019s youth academy and has forced his way into the first team over the past year or so.<\/p>\n

He has now played more than 50 times for the North London outfit, and has also been capped six times by England at senior level.<\/p>\n

Despite the teenager having played just 87 minutes of Premier League football so far this term, the report claims that the Gunners aren\u2019t prepared to allow the player to leave as they are keen to maintain their current level of squad depth going into the second half of the campaign.<\/p>\n

Lewis-Skelly\u2019s versatility has benefitted Arsenal over the past couple of seasons, with the youngster able to play in midfield or as a left-back.<\/p>\n
