The team, founded in 2018 and long rooted in the camaraderie of the South-West London road racing scene, retains its rider-led identity \u2013 but the 2026 roster signals a subtle expansion in ambition and reach.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After a 2025 campaign highlighted by Alex Mayer\u2019s podium at the Rapha Lincoln Grand Prix and his subsequent step up to UCI ProTeam BH Burgos, Foran has moved early to reinforce its depth.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ollie Hucks\u00a0is perhaps the team\u2019s most eye-catching new signing. The 26-year-old former Saint Piran rider has been one of the strongest performers on the national road circuit in recent seasons, and finished in the top ten at the Beaumont Trophy this season. The experienced Thomas Doig\u00a0joins from the now-defunct Primera-TeamJobs team, a rider who two took two National B road race podiums in 2025, as well as Craig McAuley, an experienced Irish racer now based in London. <\/p>\n
We\u2019ve added some youth and real firepower to an already deep squad<\/p>\n
The trio are joined by two promising riders:\u00a0Jack Lockwood, who impressed throughout the season with Paceline; and junior standout\u00a0Nathan Levitt, fresh from an eye-catching stage victory at the Junior Tour of Ireland.\u00a0<\/p>\n
They slot into a strong returning spine that includes\u00a0Dom Jackson, winner of the 2024 R\u00e1s Tailteann;\u00a0Danylo Riwnyj, victor of the Berlemont Trophy;\u00a0former professional Ryan Christensen;\u00a0Nick Tyrie;\u00a0Tobias Dahlhaus; and\u00a0Robin Mould\u00a0\u2013 a group that gives the squad one of its most rounded configurations yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want to win,\u201d says DS\u00a0Tom Quaid, reflecting on the team\u2019s strengthened roster. \u201cWe\u2019ve added some youth and real firepower to an already deep squad. Over the previous years we\u2019ve been nurturing a special culture that is now primed to deliver even more great things \u2013 but doing it in the Foran way, with a bit of fun and style.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The team\u2019s race calendar for 2026 marks another step forward. \u201cOur priority will still be the National B calendar,\u201d Dahlhaus and Quaid explain, \u201csupported by National As, with CiCLE, Guildford and Lincoln among the key targets.\u201d International racing will again feature prominently: Foran will return to\u00a0R\u00e1s Mumhan\u00a0and the\u00a0R\u00e1s Tailteann, with plans for a greater presence in\u00a0Belgium and France\u00a0next season.<\/p>\n
It reflects a team increasingly comfortable straddling domestic and continental ambitions, offering riders a competitive schedule without drifting from its roots.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ve achieved more than we ever thought we would<\/p>\n
Foran\u2019s durability over nine seasons has been underpinned, Quaid says, by\u00a0constant evolution.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve achieved more than we ever thought we would,\u201d he says. \u201cThe longevity comes from exactly that: evolution. Constantly reassessing, setting new goals, running the team like a business, and holding riders to a standard \u2014 making sure they give back to the team as much as the team gives to them. We want Foran to be something they\u2019re proud of, something they\u2019ll look back on in twenty years.\u201d<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s recruitment does represent a slight broadening of geographic reach, though the heart of the setup remains unmistakably familiar.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat close-knit, South-West London core is still absolutely part of who we are,\u201d Dahlhaus and Quaid say. \u201cBut over the years we\u2019ve gained a lot of friends and people we admire in the bunch. Riders who gravitated towards us, as much as we did to them. It felt natural to bring them into the fold.\u201d<\/p>\n
The team also sees 2026 as an opportunity to\u00a0promote and mentor younger riders, passing on the accumulated knowledge of its eight-season journey.<\/p>\n
Foran enters 2026 against the backdrop of another challenging winter for domestic teams, with the closure of Muc-Off and Primera.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a pity they\u2019ve closed,\u201d the Foran leadership says. \u201cWe have nothing but respect and admiration \u2013 they\u2019ve left a massive mark on the scene. We can only thank them for putting their shoulder to the wheel for as long as they have.\u201d<\/p>\n
In 2026 the team will also introduce a\u00a0club offshoot, offering experienced riders the chance to race selectively around the realities of work and family life. The initiative keeps the door open for riders who share the Foran ethos but cannot commit to the full elite calendar. The club squad includes\u00a0Tom Springbett,\u00a0George Mitchell,\u00a0Charles Page,\u00a0James Nicholson,\u00a0Mitch Pomfret,\u00a0Ian Middleton,\u00a0Joe Murray,\u00a0Andrew Rigg, and\u00a0Tom Quaid.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The main team continues to be supported by\u00a0Foran Construction,\u00a0Sigma Sports,\u00a0Spatzwear, and\u00a0Precision Hydration.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As for ambitions?<\/p>\n
\u201cContinue to do what we\u2019ve always done,\u201d they say. \u201cFine tune a few things, win some more races, and make sure we don\u2019t stray too far from what we believe is a great environment to enjoy cycling and everything it offers.\u201d<\/p>\n
With one of its deepest rosters to date, a broader race programme, and a firm hold on the sense of identity that has sustained it since 2018, Foran enters 2026 with the blend of grounded ambition and rider-first culture that has quietly made it one of the domestic scene\u2019s most enduring teams.<\/p>\n
