\n\tThe United Kingdom\u2019s Rivals<\/a> was named Best Drama Series on Monday at the 53rd International Emmy Awards<\/a> in New York City.<\/p>\n

\n\tHosted by Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, winners were announced in 16 categories, drawn from 64 nominees from a record 26 countries, with the UK taking home the most awards, with trophies seven categories.<\/p>\n

\n\tOther winners tonight included the UK\u2019s Ludwig<\/a> for Best Comedy Series, Yo, adicto [I, Addict]\u2019s Oriol Pla from Spain for Best Performance by an Actor and Until I Kill You\u2018s Anna Maxwell Martin from the UK for Best Performance by an Actress.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to the competitive categories, special honors were handed out tonight in the ceremony at the New York Hilton Midtown, with Disney Entertainment co-chairman Dana Walden receiving the International Emmy Founders Award<\/a>, and Brazil\u2019s Grupo Globo president Jo\u00e3o Roberto Marinho the International Emmy Directorate Award.<\/p>\n
