Viewers of I’m a Celebrity<\/a> were certainly amused when Tom Read Wilson’s voice sounded very different<\/a> on Monday night.<\/p>\n But some fans confessed they were baffled, unsure what his “real voice” was. The Celebs Go Dating favourite is famed for his soft, eloquent and rather posh voice.<\/p>\n That said, Monday saw him suddenly adopt what sounded like an Essex accent, and his voice was very deep. It amused his co-stars, and so he kept talking with the put-on voice.<\/p>\n As he continued though, some fans questioned if this was his genuine voice, and not the one we normally hear. Some fans even asked if Tom was “an act” and whether his voice was naturally much deeper.<\/p>\n One fan posted online: “WAIT TOM IS AN ACT,” as another said: “It’s hard to tell which voice is the real Tom.” A third fan posted: “I genuinely think this deep voiced version is the real Tom.”<\/p>\n READ MORE: I’m A Celebrity fans concerned over ‘abrupt ending’ after Ant and Dec announcement<\/a>READ MORE: I’m A Celeb 2025 RECAP: Ginge breaks down and camp evacuated in dramatic scenes<\/a> A further comment read: “Tom with a deep voice is so funny.” Another added: “Tom is brilliant at voices,” as one said: “TOM’S ESSEX ACCENT!”<\/p>\n It comes as one I’m a Celebrity<\/a> star was caught flouting the show\u2019s rules in camp. Alex Scott<\/a> smuggled in contraband, which violates the strict code enforced by I\u2019m a Celeb bosses, while Shona McGarty was also rumbled.<\/p>\n Alex was spotted onscreen at first with salt, which is on the banned list of items, and was seen putting it onto the crocodile feet on Sunday night’s show. Ant and Dec later confirmed it was “contraband” and said viewers would have to wait to see what the punishment was.<\/p>\n It is not known if the other campmates were aware of Alex’s rule-breaking at the time, or if she was going rogue. On the spin-off show, Unpacked, guest Jill Scott<\/a> said: “I am surprised by Alex doing it as I thought she would follow the rules actually.”<\/p>\n Seann Walsh<\/a> added: “I was surprised by how indiscreet Alex was with putting the salt on.” It follows a rule break last year, involving salt and teabags.<\/p>\n Radio host Dean McCullough managed to get tea bags past the show bosses<\/a>, which he dropped into the morning\u2019s supply of hot water.
