Radiohead<\/a> have performed \u2018Climbing Up The Walls\u2019 for the first time since 2018 at their latest show at the O2 in London \u2013 check out footage below.<\/p>\n

Last night (November 24), Thom Yorke<\/a> and co. played their third of four shows at The O2<\/a>, where they pulled out a rare performance of \u2018Climbing Up The Walls\u2019 for the first time in seven years.<\/p>\n

\u2018Climbing Up The Wall\u201ds return to Radiohead\u2019s setlist came towards the end of their pre-encore set, sandwiched between \u2018Let Down\u2019 and \u2018Bodysnatchers\u2019. Check out fan-shot footage of \u2018Climbing Up The Walls\u2019 below.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

After the show came to a close and the night\u2019s setlist was made available, fans not in attendance took to social to share their devastation that they were missing out on the return of \u2018Climbing Up The Walls\u2019.<\/p>\n

Taken off Radiohead\u2019s seminal \u2018OK Computer\u2019, \u2018Climbing Up The Walls\u2019 was inspired by Thom\u2019s time working at a mental hospital, and chronicles paranoia and struggling with personal demons. In 2012, the track\u2019s haunting climax was hailed as one ten most goosebump-inducing moments in Radiohead\u2019s discography<\/a> as Yorke screams out the song\u2019s title.<\/p>\n

Other \u2018OK Computer\u2019 tracks that have found their way onto Radiohead\u2019s ever-changing setlists<\/a> so far include \u2018Paranoid Android\u2019, \u2018Lucky\u2019, \u2018Subterranean Homesick Alien\u2019, \u2018Karma Police\u2019, \u2018Let Down\u2019 and \u2018No Surprises\u2019.<\/p>\n

Reviewing Radiohead\u2019s first show at the O2 last Friday (November 21), NME\u2018s Andrew Trendell wrote in a glowing five-star report<\/a>: \u201cWhat a show: a visceral energy, a tasteful spectacle, all delivered with a generosity of spirit, Yorke in full rockstar mode as the band trade places to tend to each corner of the venue. For a band once embarrassed by the notion of \u2018arena rock\u2019, nobody does it better. A new album and another night like this can\u2019t come soon enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

Radiohead are taking a\u00a0\u201cbusking approach\u201d to their current setlists<\/a>, by playing \u201cany order\u201d of songs they wish, and whittling down their huge catalogue to \u201cabout 70 songs\u201d.\u00a0The band\u00a0<\/a>are also performing in the round<\/a>\u00a0in the centre of the venue<\/a>\u00a0throughout the run of dates.<\/p>\n

Radiohead\u2019s tour continues with\u00a0a final night in London today before they head to Copenhagen and Berlin<\/a>\u00a0later this month and into December.<\/p>\n
