Manny Pacquiao<\/a>\u2018s team has made it clear that they would take a fight against Gervonta Davis<\/a> as he continues his comeback.<\/p>\n

The Filipino fighting legend returned to the ring this month after four years out to challenge for the WBC Welterweight World Title. Though champion Mario Barrios retained the belt with a majority draw on the cards, many observes felt Pacquiao did enough to win.<\/a><\/p>\n

Despite not leaving the ring with the belt, Pacquiao\u2019s performance convinced some fans and analysts that he can have at least one more fight. Though a rematch with Barrios seems to make the most sense, the 46-year-old\u2019s advisor, Sean Gibbons, said he would much rather make a fight against either Rolando Romero, another welterweight champion, or Gervonta Davis, who currently holds the WBA lightweight belt.<\/p>\n

Though \u2018Tank\u2019 Davis would be fighting at a career highest weight to make it happen, many feel his youth and power is something Pacquiao should steer clear of. That does not include Tim Bradley<\/p>\n

Speaking to Fight Hub TV<\/a>, the Hall of Fame inductee said that \u2018PacMan\u2019 has a chance of beating Davis due to the latter\u2019s focus.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know all y\u2019all Tank fans are gonna come at me, \u2018oh you don\u2019t know\u2019 \u2013 I\u2019m telling you. And if he gets in that ring and he ain\u2019t all the way focused, bro, he gonna get beat by Manny Pacquiao. If they\u2019re gonna do it he\u2019s gonna get beat by Manny Pacquiao if he ain\u2019t all the way focused in the ring, seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n

Does Bradley feel that Davis has what it takes to get focused? No.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s my take on, Tank, man. I think he\u2019s done. It\u2019s the issues outside the ring. It\u2019s the fact that he wants to change. He has a lot of things on his mind that he wants to do and he\u2019s kind of sick of the sport of boxing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Davis was last out in a controversial title defence against Lamont Roach Jr, and all signs pointed towards an immediate rematch. This opportunity against Pacquiao may see him change course.<\/p>\n
