BBC<\/a> Radio Sussex interview, where he revealed that his real name is David Bailey, adding: “The secret is out of the bag now!”<\/p>\nBailey then added in a video: “Right we need to clear up this name nonsense by the looks of it. Right, just for the record, no I do not want to be called David!<\/p>\n
“Yes, my full name is David Bailey, but everyone has always called me Bailey forever. The only person who calls me David is my mother when I’m in trouble!<\/p>\n
“So yes, my name is Bailey, I go by Bailey, I’ve always gone by Bailey, and I always will… not Bailey Smith and not David Bailey either! I’ve cancelled that name, it’s gone, out the window!<\/p>\n
Elsewhere during his BBC Radio Sussex interview, Bailey spoke about his relationship and split with Bec: “I have loved every minute of it. But it’s been tough. Going through heartbreak in the public eye has been quite difficult.”<\/p>\n

Bailey revealed that the name he used during his time on the show isn’t his real name(Image: Instagram )<\/p>\n
“It took me a while to take the ring off, [if] I am honest. I can’t say too much because there’s another reunion coming up at some point.”<\/p>\n
Bailey also insisted that he is “very much single” and he is going through a “bit of healing time”.<\/p>\n
It comes as Bailey shared a lengthy Instagram post after the show concluded, writing: “Unfortunately it\u2019s time to share that Bec and I are no longer together\u2026 We tried our best to navigate life after the experiment, and although we spent a lot of great time together on the outside, unfortunately the relationship came to an end.<\/p>\n
“I still have a lot of love for Bec and I\u2019m grateful for the amazing relationship we shared. I had fallen for Bec completely and it really was a true love story. I won\u2019t lie, watching us fall in love all over again on screen has been ridiculously hard to go through and it\u2019s something I\u2019m still struggling with now. But I wouldn\u2019t have changed any of it!<\/p>\n

“I didn\u2019t handle our break up well and for that I\u2019m truly sorry to Bec, but I was completely loyal the whole way through our relationship.<\/p>\n
“I\u2019m not perfect, I don\u2019t claim to be and I take responsibility for my part in why the relationship didn\u2019t work. Making the decision to end things was heartbreaking and not a decision that I took lightly. I\u2019m still heartbroken, but I wish Bec all the best and I always will #mafs #mafsuk.”<\/p>\n
