One Huddersfield Giants star has made an admission about the club\u2019s 2025 season in Super League, making a vow ahead of the upcoming campaign.<\/p>\n

In Luke Robinson\u2019s first full season as head coach, Huddersfield<\/a> finished up 10th in Super League, above only Salford Red Devils and Castleford Tigers, as they won just seven games in the competition.<\/p>\n

Injuries tormented them throughout the season and pre-season with their first-choice spine combination hardly featuring at all throughout the entire year.<\/p>\n

Centre Taane Milne has now spoken to club media<\/a> about his off-season, a look back at 2025 and a look inside pre-season with the Giants seemingly far healthier this year, than last.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving the injured lads back within the group adds to it,\u201d explained Milne, who spent much of the off-season down under representing Fiji in the Pacific Championships and then having an extended break with family in Australia.<\/p>\n

Huddersfield Giants \u201cworking extremely hard\u201d to avoid repeat of 2025<\/p>\n

After returning to England to start pre-season training, Milne spoke about his first few weeks back in Huddersfield, stating: \u201cI\u2019ve enjoyed being back here. The staff have looked after me in my first week back, easing me into things and now I\u2019m back into the full drills and training and it\u2019s been good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Milne was one of the Giants\u2019 standout performers in 2025 and that saw the Huddersfield man earn another call-up for Fiji, for whom he played in the second-row as opposed to the centre position he plays for the Giants.<\/p>\n

Despite a sin bin in one of the Tests<\/a>, Milne spoke about his time down under representing Fiji, explaining: \u201cIt\u2019s something I always pride myself on, there\u2019s nothing I love more than playing for them and it\u2019s one of the best things of my career.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now that he\u2019s back in England, Milne has met the new faces that Huddersfield have added with the Giants making a number of off-season signings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got some new recruits and I\u2019m looking forward to seeing how they add to our team, seeing them in training they\u2019re all keen to impress.\u201d<\/p>\n

On 2025, he admitted: \u201cWe know that last season wasn\u2019t good enough and we\u2019re all working extremely hard in pre-season to fix up and ensure next season is more enjoyable for us all.\u201d<\/p>\n
