\n Scottish fashion designer Pam Hogg, known for dressing celebrities such as Kate Moss<\/a>, Kylie Minogue<\/a> and Rihanna<\/a>, has died, her family confirmed this Wednesday in a statement published on social media.<\/p>\n

The Hogg family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Pamela,\u201d they wrote on the designer\u2019s Instagram account, whose final hours were described as \u201cpeaceful\u201d and \u201csurrounded by the loving care of dear friends and family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPamela\u2019s creative spirit and her work touched the lives of many people of all ages, and she leaves behind a magnificent legacy that will continue to inspire us, bring us joy, and challenge us to live beyond the confines of convention,\u201d the statement continues.<\/p>\n

Hogg never wished to reveal her age publicly, but according to several British media outlets, she is believed to have died at 66.<\/p>\n

The cause of her death has also not been disclosed, but in the note issued this Wednesday her family thanked the staff at St. Joseph<\/a>\u2019s Hospice, a center for terminally ill patients in London, for the \u201cbeautiful support\u201d they provided to Hogg.<\/p>\n

The Scottish artist studied Fine Arts at the Glasgow School of Art and launched her first fashion collection in 1981. Throughout her career, she designed outfits for high-profile celebrities, such as the catsuit worn by Kylie Minogue in the \u201c2 Hearts\u201d (2007) music video.<\/p>\n

She also dressed other artists including Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Jessie J, as well as models such as Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer<\/a>, and Kate Moss, who was also one of her close friends.<\/p>\n

According to her website, Hogg described herself as a \u201cpunk\u201d icon and cited music as one of the greatest influences on her designs. In 2016, she designed the trophy for the BRIT Awards, the British music awards.\n <\/p>\n
