A product of Man City, the Portuguese came to Wolves<\/a> from Ajax with high expectations, but he barely made an impact for either of Gary O\u2019Neil and Vitor Pereira. <\/p>\n Forbs played 239 minutes over the course of the season. <\/p>\n But he has found form at Club Brugge, already on four goals and five assists in 17 appearances this season \u2014 including a brilliant Forbs performance against Barcelona in the Champions League<\/a>. <\/p>\n He spoke on his time at Wolves in a recent interview. <\/p>\n Carlos Forbs had a miserable loan spell at Wolves <\/p>\n Carlos Forbs for Wolves in 2024\/25:<\/p>\n Appearances \u2013 11Minutes played \u2013 260Goals \u2013 0Assists \u2013 1 Carlos Forbs says he was lacking confidence at Wolves <\/p>\n Forbs has to be considered a Wolves flop<\/a>, but seeing what he is doing now in Belgium points to the blame lying elsewhere. <\/p>\n He provides a possible explanation to Het Belang van Limburg (via Sport Witness<\/a>), saying: \u201cThe staff, the board, everyone here believes in me. <\/p>\n \u201cAt Ajax and Wolverhampton, I couldn\u2019t do my thing as well. I knew I\u2019d end up on the bench after one or two bad matches. Not here. That affects your confidence.\u201d <\/p>\n Forbs wasn\u2019t given much of a chance by either of last season\u2019s managers, and he puts the failed move down to that. <\/p>\n Ironically, Wolves are in need of a pacey, direct wide player. That\u2019s what the 21-year-old has become in Brugge.
