Peter Kay has made a major announcement during his appearance on The One Show today, much to the delight of his legions of fans.<\/p>\n

The comedian confirmed on the BBC<\/a> programme that he will be adding the last few tour dates of his tour next year.<\/p>\n

His Better Late Than Never tour started way back in 2022, but due to its enormous success, he has been continually adding dates to it.<\/p>\n

The new tour dates will take place in 2026, with all profits going to a good cause.<\/p>\n

Peter said: “It’s finishing next year, and I am announcing the last lot of shows but all profits are going to cancer charities.<\/p>\n

“They’re all 12 cancer charities which are, Children with cancer, UK Teenage cancer trust, Kidney Cancer UK, Blood Cancer UK, Bowel Cancer UK, Prostate UK.”<\/p>\n

“DKMS, Ovarian Cancer Action, Pancreatic Cancer UK, Anthony Nolan, the brain tumour charity, and Breast Cancer UK.”<\/p>\n

“Unfortunately, everybody knows someone who’s been affected on that list, and I just hope people support it.<\/p>\n

Come to the shows, that’s why I’m here. You don’t even have to like me, it goes beyond that.<\/p>\n

“This is about supporting those charities.”<\/p>\n

He joked: “If it’s not funny, you get your money back… You don’t. I hope you’ll come and do it. It’s 12 cancer charities.”<\/p>\n

If you want to nab a ticket for his tour, they go on sale on Sunday (November 30).<\/p>\n

Shows will commence on March 8, 2026.<\/p>\n
