Now, \u201cAvatar\u201d and \u201cAliens\u201d filmmaker James Cameron has weighed in with his reaction to the series.  <\/p>\n<p>The show takes place between the events of the first two films, and FX is ploughing forward with creator Noah Hawley indicating the show could go for up to five seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron famously dismissed \u201cAlien vs. Predator\u201d but did praise both \u201cAlien: Romulus\u201d and \u201cPredator: Badlands\u201d.  What does he think of this series?  Speaking with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.empireonline.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Empire<\/a> (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slashfilm.com\/2032231\/james-cameron-noah-hawley-alien-earth-review\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Slashfilm<\/a>), Cameron says he liked it and explains why:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like it. I think they took a lot of the DNA from my movie, from [Ridley Scott\u2018s] movie. And a couple of things from some of the later movies, they\u2019ve got a little bit of that crazy POV thing racing down the corridors from [David] Fincher\u2018s film. I think it\u2019s good. It\u2019s great creative recombinance in action, but with its own swerve, which is basically what I did. You gotta celebrate the new with the old.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The second season will shift locations, with filming moving from the first season\u2019s Thailand locales to shooting in London.
