{"id":286297,"date":"2025-11-27T14:59:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T14:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/286297\/"},"modified":"2025-11-27T14:59:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T14:59:09","slug":"sales-tom-curry-puts-accusations-behind-him-as-6-england-stars-start-in-exeter-clash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/286297\/","title":{"rendered":"Sale&#8217;s Tom Curry puts accusations behind him as 6 England stars start in Exeter clash"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Six <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/teams\/england\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">England<\/a> internationals will all start for Sale <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/teams\/sharks\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sharks<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/teams\/exeter-chiefs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Exeter Chiefs<\/a> on Friday in the Gallagher PREM, less than a week after featuring in England\u2019s victory over Argentina.<\/p>\n<p>Luke Cowan-Dickie, Asher Opoku-Fordjour, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/players\/tom-curry\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tom Curry<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/players\/george-ford\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">George Ford<\/a> will all start for the Sharks at home, having all featured extensively under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/players\/steve-borthwick\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Steve Borthwick<\/a> over the Quilter Nations Series.<\/p>\n<p>Curry, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/news\/felipe-contepomi-england-star-comes-and-just-hits-him-in-tunnel\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">who was subjected to accusations of being a \u201cbully\u201d by <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/teams\/argentina\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Argentina<\/a> boss Felipe Contepomi, and Cowan-Dickie played in all four matches, with two starts for the hooker and four appearances as part of the \u2018Pom Squad\u2019 for the flanker. Ford, meanwhile, started in victories over Australia, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/teams\/new-zealand\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">All Blacks<\/a> and Argentina, but was rested for the fixture with Fiji. Opoku-Fordjour, lastly, started in the victory over Argentina, having come on from the bench against Fiji.<\/p>\n<p>Exeter\u2019s England duo of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/players\/henry-slade\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Henry Slade<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/players\/immanuel-feyi-waboso\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Immanuel Feyi-Waboso<\/a> will also start at the CorpAcq Stadium.
