The locked out diehards celebrated Ayase Ueda’s opener in the Europa League clash<\/p>\n

Fireworks were fired into the De Kuip stadium during Feyenoord’s celebrations of Ayase Ueda’s opener against Celtic<\/a>. The red explosives narrowly missed players as they landed in Rotterdam.<\/p>\n

It was a nightmare start for the Hoops in the Europa League <\/a>as Japanese star Ueda gave the side the lead<\/a> inside 11 minutes. But the celebrations became a safety issue as pyro came down from the sky in Rotterdam.<\/p>\n

The Eredivisie giants are serving a partial stadium closure with ten thousand ultras locked out for the game. BBC Sportsound commentator Liam McLeod said: “There was all kinds of pyrotechnics going over the roof there.<\/p>\n

“Landing on the roof, landing on the pitch, landing in the stand. They already have the stadium closure because of pyrotechnics, and they are at it again.”<\/p>\n

TNT Sports commentator Joe Hart branded it “dangerous” and admitted he was “worried” for the players. Feyenoord <\/a>were already involved in an incident with fireworks in an earlier Europa League clash against Panathinaikos that saw UEFA step in.<\/p>\n

The Dutch club were already on a suspended sentence from UEFA for the same offence against Bayern Munich earlier on.
