“The club’s support meant everything. I wanted to go and explore that opportunity and I had their backing, and that’s why this is the only club I would ever come back to.<\/p>\n
“I think I’m coming back home as a better player, on and off the pitch. I’ve learned a lot by being in a full-time professional environment in Australia, which is something I hope the Women’s Super League can do one day.”<\/p>\n
Travis played in every game for Parramatta, making 11 appearances in total, before she was released by the club at the end of the season.<\/p>\n
An established international, Travis has made nine appearances for England and featured at the 2022 Rugby League World Cup as well as against Australia in Las Vegas earlier this year.<\/p>\n
“Every club in the UK would want her, and that shows how highly valued the programme we run here is,” head coach Craig Richards said.<\/p>\n
“It speaks volumes about our culture and how we treat people because, in Paige’s mind, it was always about coming back to Saints.<\/p>\n
