Will Driscoll<\/a> (Lucas Hodgson-Wale<\/a>) arrived to Coronation Street later than his other family members, and this was because he was with a woman called Megan (Beth Nixon).<\/p>\n

The two characters created a cover story for Ben Driscoll<\/a> (Aaron McCusker) and Eva Price<\/a> (Catherine Tyldesley<\/a>) when they eventually arrived in Weatherfield. To Will, this was to hide what he thinks is an exciting reality. <\/p>\n

To us, it was revealed to be a lie to cover up the fact Megan is sexually abusing Will.<\/p>\n

Megan has convinced Will, who is underage, that they are in a relationship. She often tests his loyalty by creating situations that increase his jealousy, and has also wormed her way into the Driscoll clan so they don\u2019t get suspicious.<\/p>\n

While Ben and Eva are none the wiser at the moment, upcoming episodes will see another Rovers Return local start to wonder about the dynamic Will and Megan have.<\/p>\n

Eva forces Will to apologise to Lauren for trying to kiss her. She assures him it\u2019s water under the bridge, so Will heads off to meet Megan.<\/p>\n

Unbeknownst to them both, Lauren is watching Megan and Will from afar with a growing sense of unease. Lauren was groomed and abused by Joel Deering<\/a>, so she will be able to notice worrying signs between Megan and Will.<\/p>\n

Who will Lauren tell?<\/p>\n

If she confronts Megan, how will she deal with this?<\/p>\n

\u2018She\u2019s not a one-dimensional character. She\u2019s not just this evil person. She has all these other things going on\u2014all these life experiences she\u2019s had, which have led her up to this point.<\/p>\n

\u2018The audience doesn\u2019t know, the other characters don\u2019t know, but she knows. So, there are all these things I\u2019ve decided in my preparation,\u2019 Beth Nixon explained.<\/p>\n

\u2018She\u2019s very insecure. She\u2019s desperate to be loved; she\u2019s desperate to be adored. And her reasons for that will eventually be uncovered, and we\u2019ll dig deeper and find out more about her. But she\u2019s a flawed person. She\u2019s really complex.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2018As an actor, you\u2019ve got to delve deep and find a reason for why a person, a \u201cvillain\u201d as such is a loose term, behaves in that way.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018We can see her slowly\u00a0worm her way into the family<\/a>\u00a0and befriend Eva and Maggie and really get the women on side with her,\u2019 Beth teased. \u2018They think she\u2019s good for Will; they think she\u2019s a brilliant mentor. So, no one is suspecting anything at the moment.<\/p>\n

\u2018But we will see Lauren become suspicious because Lauren has obviously experienced something very similar to what Will\u2019s going through. So she knows what to look for; she knows the signs and she spots them on the street.<\/p>\n

\u2018So, Megan changes tack and decides to use Daniel as the cover-up. <\/p>\n

\u2018We get to sort of uncover how truly vile she can be. She will stop at nothing to come out on top and survive, basically.\u2019<\/p>\n
