November 29, 2025<\/a>\n <\/p>\n\n The Carlisle boxer weighed in at 11st 7lb 2oz and was introduced to the crowd as \u201cMarvellous Marc Haughan,\u201d as more than 200 supporters from Carlisle sang his name.\n<\/p>\n
\n Against 11st 7lb Przewieslik, a patient opening round was followed by Haughan increasing the tempo in round two, troubling Przewieslik\u00a0with a powerful right hook and further quick combinations.\n<\/p>\n
\n Haughan was on the front foot and landed a variety of punches as Przewieslik\u00a0tried to respond.\n<\/p>\n
\n The Polish boxer\u2019s gumshield came out on several occasions during the contest, leading the referee to deduct a point at one stage as things became stop-start.\n<\/p>\n
\n Haughan, though, remained on top against his tiring opponent and a strong left hand connected with Przewieslik\u2019s chin in round three.\n<\/p>\n
\n Some further aggressive exchanges followed in the final round, a solid uppercut seeing Haughan continue to force the pace before the two boxers embraced at the bell.\n<\/p>\n
\n Haughan\u2019s arm was then raised after his victory via Darren Sarginson\u2019s scoring was confirmed.\n<\/p>\n
\n Haughan, who hails from Upperby and now lives in Harraby, is signed with top promoters VIP Boxing, who are based in Manchester and have worked with numerous\u00a0English, British, Commonwealth, European and world champions.\n<\/p>\n
\n He is managed by Steve Wood and continues to train at Carlisle Villa, where he came through the amateur ranks and whose coaches, including Jimmy Brennan, were in his corner in Blackpool.\n<\/p>\n
