The movie became a big hit upon its release and received good reviews.<\/p>\n<p>X-Men: First Class to stream on HBO Max in December<\/p>\n<p>X-Men: First Class is coming for streaming on HBO Max soon.<\/p>\n<p>According to a report by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbr.com\/december-1-will-be-an-excellent-day-for-x-men-fans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Comic Book Resources<\/a>, the X-Men prequel will land in the streaming giant\u2019s library on December 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The movie came out in theaters on June 3, 2011, and became a big hit upon its release. As per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boxofficemojo.com\/title\/tt1270798\/?ref_=bo_se_r_1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Box Office Mojo<\/a>, its reported budget was $160 million, and it made an opening collection of $55 million across 3,641 theaters. In the domestic market, X-Men: First Class made around $146 million, and in the international market, it grossed over $206 million. This took the movie\u2019s worldwide collection to $352 million.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rottentomatoes.com\/m\/x_men_first_class\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>, X-Men: First Class got a satisfactory score of 86 percent on the Tomatometer based on critic reviews. On the Popcornmeter, the movie scored 87 percent based on audience reviews. The prequel takes place in the 60s and focuses on \u201csuperpowered humans, Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr,\u201d who are on a mission to find others like them. However, their paths soon separate.<\/p>\n<p>In recent months, Edi Gathegi, who played the role of Darwin in the movie, shared how he felt his role was \u201ca case of bad representation and missed opportunity.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the Superman actor told <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/mister-terrific-superman-undoing-wrongs-x-men-darwin-edi-gathegi-exclusive-11752324\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, \u201cThere was a lot that they could have done with that character, probably should have done with the character.
