Warner Bros. is reportedly planning to change the theatrical release date for Dune: Part Three, which is currently set for December 18, 2026. According to insider EmpireCity Box Office, Dune 3 will likely have an earlier release date to avoid clashing with Avengers: Doomsday. A delay to 2027 is said to be unlikely since director Denis Villeneuve has to move on to his James Bond movie. This won\u2019t be the only shakeup to Warners\u2019 2026 lineup, as the insider says there are \u201clots of shifts still coming.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dune: Part 3 is once again directed and produced by Denis Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts. It is based on Frank Herbert\u2019s 1969 novel Dune Messiah.
