Brendan Rodgers will keep his options open, despite the possibility of becoming the new Leeds manager due to Daniel Farke\u2019s struggles in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

With Farke now the odds on favourite to be the next Premier League manager sacked<\/a> after the Whites\u2019 poor start to the season, the club will almost certainly be exploring managerial replacements.<\/p>\n

Given there are many names in the mix, former Man United<\/a> and Blackburn chief scout\u00a0Mick Brown<\/a> exclusively told Football Insider that Ange Postecoglou could become the new Leeds manager<\/a> in a rapid return to the English top-flight.<\/p>\n

Whilst the Australian will certainly be in contention for the job, the Peacocks will also be keeping tabs on Rodgers after he resigned from Celtic<\/a> on 27 October.<\/p>\n

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider\u2019s Inside Track podcast<\/a>, the Yorkshire outfit are preparing for life without the German after their fourth straight loss in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The Whites lost 3-2 to Man City<\/a> on 29 November, yet the combative manner of the defeat has given Farke more time at Leeds<\/a> than previously thought, sources told Football Insider.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the\u00a0Inside Track podcast over how much patience the Whites will have with the ex-Norwich City boss and what it means for Rodgers, I explained: \u201cRight now, having left Celtic<\/a>, he will be linked with so many jobs here and there when they do come. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure Leeds<\/a> will have him on their list, but whether they\u2019ll be able to get Brendan Rodgers will be another question altogether. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure he might not be that interested in joining the club midway through the season and joining the relegation battle because I\u2019m sure Brendan Rodgers will be keeping his options open and seeing what\u2019s not just available in England, but maybe abroad as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leeds\u2019 dressing room status could be key in deciding Farke\u2019s fate<\/p>\n

Whilst the German appears to have been given a few more games to recover the sinking ship at Elland Road, the mood at the club is clearly a factor that could be pivotal in whether the manager stays in Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

Sources told Football Insider that morale in the Leeds dressing room is in a \u201cterrible\u201d state<\/a> after a below-par return to English top-flight football.<\/p>\n

Farke\u2019s history in the Premier League has been nothing short of calamitous with an abysmal tenure at Norwich City when they were instantly relegated in the 2020-21 campaign.<\/p>\n
