Award-winning actor Femi Adebayo has defended his colleague, Odunlade Adekola, urging critics to approach his latest film \u2018Warlord\u2019 with respect and an open mind.<\/p>\n
Adebayo\u2019s response was prompted by a social media user who slammed the movie, citing its production shortcomings.<\/p>\n
The user wrote, \u201cNa you go be producer, main character, singer, director. Na why your movies no dey make sense. Do better.\u201d<\/p>\n
He emphasised the importance of respect, noting that filmmaking is a team effort involving directors, writers, crew, and actors.<\/p>\n
He encouraged viewers to watch the movie with an open mind and judge it fairly, rather than making hurtful comments from behind a keyboard.<\/p>\n
Adebayo wrote, \u201cI\u2019ve noticed one or two tweets from this account about my brother\u2019s movie. Understandably, you\u2019re entitled to your opinion, but posting comments from behind a keyboard doesn\u2019t automatically make those opinions accurate. Let\u2019s keep it respectful, that is someone\u2019s craft. Filmmaking is teamwork, with directors, writers, crew, and actors all putting in their best. This Project is my brother\u2019s.
