Pictures<\/a> movie that serves as a follow-up to 2025\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/superman\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Superman<\/a>. Directed by Gunn, the film will see David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult reprise their respective roles as Superman\/Clark Kent and Lex Luthor.<\/p>\n<p>What Man of Tomorrow rumor did James Gunn debunk?<\/p>\n<p>On <a href=\"https:\/\/www.threads.com\/@updates4dc\/post\/DRuWIKQgR17\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Threads<\/a>, Gunn responded to a rumor stating that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/steve-trevor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Steve Trevor<\/a> may be on Gunn\u2019s casting list for Man of Tomorrow. This rumor originated after scooper Daniel Richtman <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DanielRPK\/status\/1994879480834527319\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">said<\/a> that there is a \u201cmajor new male character they are casting for Man of Tomorrow,\u201d as many people quickly began speculating this could either be Steve or potentially Batman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNope,\u201d Gunn simply said when responding to the Steve rumor.<\/p>\n<p>It makes sense that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/dcu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DCU<\/a> fans would hypothesize that Steve could be in Man of Tomorrow, as there are also rumors floating around that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/wonder-woman\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wonder Woman<\/a> might <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/movies\/639495-wonder-woman-first-dcu-apperance-may-have-been-revealed\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">appear in the movie<\/a>. In DC Comics lore, Steve is typically a trusted friend and frequent love interest of Wonder Woman; however, Diana\u2019s presence in Man of Tomorrow has not yet been confirmed by anyone involved with the project.<\/p>\n<p>Man of Tomorrow arrives in United States theaters on July 9, 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Superman, meanwhile, is currently available to stream on HBO Max.
