Over the past two decades, he&#8217;s worked with a wide range of international retail brands from Asia, North America and Europe on their flagship expansion strategies across the EMEA region.<\/p>\n<p>Specificially, he\u2019s been \u201cinstrumental in securing high-profile locations on many of the world\u2019s most prestigious retail streets\u201d including London\u2019s Regent Street, the Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es in Paris, Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona, Via Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, and Calle Serrano in Madrid.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-md-8 offset-md-1 article-content--texte\">His work on notable flagship transactions \u201chas earned him a reputation for deep market insight, strategic advisory expertise and exceptional execution across Europe\u2019s prime retail corridors\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In his new role at Savills, Close will focus on strategically advising global retail brands on their growth in key prime EMEA cities.<\/p>\n<p>His appointment \u201cdemonstrates the firm\u2019s commitment to delivering market-driven tenant representation, helping clients to thrive amid an increasingly competitive retail landscape\u201d, Savills said.<\/p>\n<p>Sam Foyle, co-head of Prime Global Retail at the firm, added:\u00a0\u201cDavid\u2019s deep-rooted understanding of the European retail landscape, combined with a modern, people-first approach to retailers, aligns seamlessly with our boutique advisory model.
