The world’s leading architects and designers from over 45 countries joined to celebrate Dezeen Awards 2025<\/a>, in partnership with Bentley<\/a>, announcing this year’s winners at a party in London.<\/p>\n

Over 500 guests from countries including South Korea<\/a>, India<\/a> and Australia<\/a>, as well as Japan<\/a>, China<\/a> and USA<\/a> joined Dezeen for the event at Exhibition White City<\/a>, a Grade II-listed Victorian engine house in west London.<\/p>\n

\"APerformers entertained guests at the circus-themed event<\/p>\n

At the circus-themed event, guests were welcomed with a champagne reception provided by drinks partner Perrier-Jouet<\/a>, whilst towering stilt-walkers and a juggler paraded among the crowd to open the evening’s entertainment.<\/p>\n

London-based caterer Kerb<\/a> provided street food and drink, while design-led startup and drinks partner Windup<\/a> served a non-alcoholic sparkling tea alternative.<\/p>\n

Former Scissor Sisters frontwoman Ana Matronic<\/a> introduced the evening’s proceedings ahead of the highly anticipated winner announcements led by Dezeen’s co-CEOs Benedict Hobson<\/a> and Wai Shin Li<\/a>, editorial director Max Fraser<\/a> and awards and events director Claire Barrett<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"AnaFormer Scissor Sisters frontwoman Ana Matronic introduced the evening before later taking to the stage for a DJ set<\/p>\n

First to be announced were the sustainability categories, which saw sustainability project of the year awarded to Hydro’s aluminium alloy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Design project of the year went to AtMa’s seating collection<\/a>, followed by interiors project of the year, sponsored by Gaggenau<\/a>, to Symbolplus’ own Tokyo office<\/a>. The interiors project categories were also sponsored by Framery<\/a> and Marazzi<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Architecture project of the year, sponsored by Programa<\/a>, was awarded to Herzog & de Meuron’s children’s hospital<\/a>. The architecture project categories were also sponsored by Equitone<\/a>, Gozney<\/a> and Viriato<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All Dezeen Awards 2025 winners announced last night in London\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

The six Designers of the Year<\/a> were presented with their awards by the evening’s hosts. They were joined on stage by deputy editor Cajsa Carlson<\/a>, design and interiors reporter Jane Englefield<\/a>, and editor-at-large Amy Frearson<\/a>, to reveal the winners.<\/p>\n

Each winner was presented with a graphics tablet by XP-Pen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The presentations came to a close with the Bentley Lighthouse Award<\/a>, introduced by Dezeen Awards judge and head of lifestyle design at Bentley, Ben Saltmer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"AThis year’s winners were announced live at the party<\/p>\n

This year’s Bentley Lighthouse Award went to industrial designer Jo Barnard<\/a>. The master jury noted Barnard’s top-down approach to driving sustainable change and praised her commitment to accessibility, as well as her ability to bring topics such as circularity into mainstream conversation.<\/p>\n

“As we celebrate the third year of our partnership with Dezeen Awards, it’s inspiring to see how this platform continues to champion bold ideas and exceptional talent,” said Saltmer.<\/p>\n

“Last week’s celebration brought together a global community that truly shares our belief in design’s power to shape a better future,” he continued.<\/p>\n

“It’s a privilege to support a community that continues to raise the bar year after year.”<\/p>\n

\"AnduAndu Masebo was amongst this year’s Dezeen Awards 2025 winners<\/p>\n

All the winners received a hand-crafted trophy made from Paper Factor<\/a>. The winning and highly commended studios also received a certificate and Dezeen Awards bag made in collaboration with specialist paper company GF Smith<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Guests then celebrated into the night as Matronic took to the stage for the evening’s headline performance, set to the colourful and vibrant circus-inspired show design by Hingston Studio<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The show design featured giant illuminated LED globes, colourful themed candyfloss and popcorn stations as well as rose and pinot noir sofas provided by furniture partner King Living<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"AThe party featured a striking and playful show design inspired by the circus<\/p>\n
