It\u2019s all getting very messy for Hollyoaks<\/a> legend Ste Hay<\/a> (Kieron Richardson<\/a>), who finds himself torn between two men as his life continues to implode. <\/p>\n

The chef, as viewers know, recently relapsed in the wake of son Lucas<\/a>\u2019 (Oscar Curtis<\/a>) abuse, which led to him losing access to grandson baby James. <\/p>\n

Dillon Ray<\/a> (Nathaniel Dass<\/a>) was determined to help sponsor Ste on the road to recovery, even going so far as to arrange secret meetings with James. <\/p>\n

Despite Lucas still being in love with Dillon, Ste has found himself drawn to his son\u2019s former flame<\/a>. He slept with Dillon, who is his grandson\u2019s father, last month, a secret which he\u2019s kept hidden from an unsuspecting Lucas for fear of how he might react. <\/p>\n

Lucas, as audiences know, has become obsessed with winning Dillon<\/a> back \u2013 but he\u2019s resorted to some pretty shocking methods in order to do so, including cloning his ex\u2019s phone<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Dillon wasn\u2019t pleased when he uncovered such a thing, blocking Lucas immediately. <\/p>\n

However, Lucas\u2019 behaviour continues to spiral out of control<\/a>, with scenes next week seeing the young chef accused of being Frankie Osborne<\/a>\u2019s (Isabelle Smith<\/a>) stalker. <\/p>\n

Ste pleads with Dillon to keep quiet about Lucas\u2019 abuse and, as the week comes to an end, all eyes are on Lucas as his obsession spirals out of control. <\/p>\n

What happens in the aftermath remains to be seen but Rex Gallagher<\/a> (Jonny Labey<\/a>) is back on the scene and, in an unexpected twist, he and Dillon are on the same side, as they try to help Ste see that Lucas needs help. <\/p>\n

Mercedes\u2019 time is running out to pay the blackmailer and Warren will do whatever it takes to protect her secret, even if it involves working with Gemma. Gemma, meanwhile, is pleased to see things are tense between Warren and Mercedes.<\/p>\n

Warren does a job with Gemma to raise money for Mercedes, unaware that he\u2019s working alongside the person responsible for his one true love\u2019s plight. Oh boy! <\/p>\n

The job? Gemma reveals that she\u2019s had a tip off about a robbery taking place later that day, which her and Warren will intercept and steal the money. <\/p>\n

Mercedes, meanwhile, makes an accusation of Warren when she spots him with Gemma!<\/p>\n

And speaking of Gemma, the new doc appears to have doubts about destroying Donny\/Mick\u2019s life, so Froggy does his best to reassure her. <\/p>\n

Donny treats his family to lunch but things take a turn when sinister Sully enters, leaving Misbah with questions that Donny can\u2019t answer\u2026<\/p>\n

Later, Mercedes arranges to pay off the blackmailer \u2013 but Warren has a plan to identify who it is causing all this chaos. Is Diane and Gemma\u2019s secret set out? <\/p>\n

As the Christmas festivities get underway at the market, Mercy confesses her fears over Warren really wants.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Diane gives Ant back his phone but it doesn\u2019t take long for the concerning content to return. Upon learning her son has skipped school, Diane leaves Tony in Mercedes\u2019 care, confiscating her boy\u2019s device once more. <\/p>\n

Prince offers to help with Ant to make up for the content he created a few weeks earlier \u2013 and Dee-Dee\u2019s friend Trina watches a smitten Ant amid a workout with Prince. <\/p>\n

Frankie, meanwhile, confides in Dodger about the messages she\u2019s been receiving as her stalker ordeal escalates \u2013 and she fears Sully could be involved. <\/p>\n

Despite their concern for Lucas, however, Ste and Dillon are almost caught out when Rex overhears a conversation. A case of tough love ensues from Rex, which results in Ste pushing him away. <\/p>\n

Is this rally the end for Ste and Rex? Fans had been hopeful that once he returned to the village things would be rekindled for the pair, thus putting an end to Ste and Dillon\u2019s romance. <\/p>\n

But this isn\u2019t the case after all, with Dillon on hand to comfort Ste in the aftermath of his showdown with Rex \u2013 and let\u2019s just say that one thing leads to another!<\/p>\n

Has Ste picked Dillon over Rex? Or is there another twist to come? And let\u2019s not forget that James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) is alive \u2013 something which Ste is very much in the dark about \u2013 but just how would he feel to know his husband made it out of the explosion after all?<\/p>\n

Speaking to Metro last month about Dillon and Ste\u2019s unexpected relationship, actor Nate Dass, who plays Dillon, said: \u2018I wouldn\u2019t say it\u2019s necessarily that there are no feelings for Lucas \u2013 that it\u2019s completely over and completely cut off \u2013 because that would be ridiculous after everything they\u2019ve been through.<\/p>\n

\u2018But as for now, he feels more for Ste due to the fact he was his sponsor \u2013 someone he could relate to and someone he could have real chats with about his problems. I think he felt that Lucas never understood him in terms of what he went through with the trafficking and the drugs.\u2019<\/p>\n
