Ealing Trailfinders women have signed New Zealand international Tanya Kalounivale on a deal running to the end of March 2026. <\/p>\n

The 26-year-old tight-head prop arrives at the club as injury cover alongside fellow Black Fern Maia Roos.<\/a><\/p>\n

Kalounivale represented New Zealand at the recent World Cup where they finished third with bronze, and has 27 caps in total for her country. <\/p>\n

She is one of a record number of Black Ferns now playing Premiership Women’s Rugby also including co-captain Ruahei Demant<\/a> at Bristol, Amy Rule<\/a> at Exeter, Alana Borland and Georgia Ponsonby at Trailfinders and Liana Mikaele-Tu’u at Harlequins.<\/p>\n

“I’m really excited to be here,” Kalounivale told the club. , external<\/a><\/p>\n

“I’ll be learning and experiencing a different style of rugby to what I’m used to and the whole team has been incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived. <\/p>\n
