Chris Eubank Jr has been pictured at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix<\/a>, just days after posting a worrying health update<\/a>. The boxer took to X on Tuesday to share a clip of him in a hospital bed, attached to various wires and machines.<\/p>\n Alongside the harrowing video, he wrote: “I\u2019ve been dealing with a lot of health issues over the last year & yeah it all finally caught up to me last month. Eubank Jr<\/a> wore a tan Gucci jacket, washed black denim jeans and a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes as he posed for the cameras ahead of the action.<\/p>\n It comes just weeks after the 36-year-old was handed a points loss to Conor Benn<\/a> at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The sons of Chris Eubank Sr<\/a> and Nigel Benn<\/a> reignited a family feud dating back to the 1990s back in April when they met in the capital to share the squared-circle.<\/p>\n On that night, Eubank Jr secured a unanimous decision win against Benn<\/a> after a boxing clinic under the bright lights. However, November’s instant rematch proved to be a polar opposite state of affairs.<\/p>\n ‘Next Gen’ struggled with the jab and the movement of a far more agile Benn<\/a>, as he was peppered at leisure for 12 rounds before suffering a unanimous decision loss. After that bout, Benn went as far as suggesting his long-time rival should potentially retire<\/a> from the sport completely.<\/p>\n He said: “I can see him asking for a rematch, but ultimately I think we should let it lie now. We’ve done what we said we would do, we’ve sold out a stadium twice so let’s call it a day.<\/p>\n “He’s got more important things to worry about than fighting. He’s won at life with his two boys and if I was him I would look at his reasons for boxing.<\/p>\n “Ultimately he will be a dad of two and that’s always a priority. It’s not down to me to say whether he should retire but he has bigger things in life now.”<\/p>\n It comes as the 2025 Formula 1<\/a> season comes to a close this weekend in Abu Dhabi. Lando Norris<\/a> needs just a third-place finish at the Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday to clinch his first-ever Drivers’ Championship with McLaren<\/a>, given he currently leads the standings with 408 points.<\/p>\n This season, Norris has managed seven wins and 17 podiums, as he eyes glory alongside Oscar Piastri<\/a>. However, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen<\/a> will hope to crush the youngster’s dreams and clinch a fifth-consecutive F1 title in the process.<\/p>\n The 28-year-old currently trails Norris by just 12 points headed into Sunday’s race.
