Western Kansas Therapy Associates (WKTA) is a behavioral health therapy office with two locations, in both downtown Hays and Phillipsburg. WKTA has a team of 17 licensed mental health therapists who possess a variety of specialties.<\/p>\n
When you call WKTA, you speak with the owner, Josh Tanguay, who will listen and work to pair you or your family member with a therapist who may be a good fit for whatever challenges are at hand. Finding a good relational fit with a therapist is the most important part of the therapeutic process, which is why we put so much emphasis on it.<\/p>\n
We have therapists who specialize in all phases of the lifespan from very young ages to older adults. Our therapists utilize a variety of therapy modalities to work with a vast array of mental health challenges. In addition to therapy, WKTA also provides full psychological evaluations depending on age and presenting challenge(s).<\/p>\n
In most circumstances, WKTA can see a new client within a week. As you begin your therapeutic journey with WKTA, you and your therapist will determine a good frequency for meetings. In almost all circumstances we can see someone on a weekly basis if needed.<\/p>\n
