According to him, they poisoned him through fufu, so after he finished eating, that was when the complications began. He cries anytime he recounts this story.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe told me that when the pain started, a scan was conducted, and they detected some round objects in his stomach. The white doctors thought he had swallowed cocaine, so they ignored him\u2026 After two hours, when they realised he wasn\u2019t dying, they ran another scan and discovered it was poison,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Oheneba Ntim Barima, however, dismissed allegations that the late Lumba was poisoned by his first spouse, Akosua Serwaa.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghanaweb.com\/GhanaHomePage\/entertainment\/Odo-Broni-once-told-Abusuapanyin-that-Daddy-Lumba-never-married-her-Jigga-2012572\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">\u2018Odo Broni once told Abusuapanyin that Daddy Lumba never married her\u2019 \u2013 Jigga<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to him, Daddy Lumba told him that it was some friends who were responsible for the poisoning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe man really suffered\u2026 I never said Akosua Serwaa poisoned him. He told me that some friends were the ones who gave him the poison.
