{"id":305325,"date":"2025-12-08T16:37:09","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T16:37:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/305325\/"},"modified":"2025-12-08T16:37:09","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T16:37:09","slug":"british-rapper-ghetts-admits-causing-death-of-student-by-dangerous-driving-ghetts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/305325\/","title":{"rendered":"British rapper Ghetts admits causing death of student by dangerous driving | Ghetts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The rapper <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/ghetts\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" data-component=\"auto-linked-tag\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ghetts<\/a> pleaded guilty to causing the death of a student in a hit-and-run while driving dangerously.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The award-winning artist, whose real name is Justin Clarke-Samuel, appeared at the Old Bailey in London by video link from Pentonville prison and admitted causing the death of 20-year-old Yubin Tamang on 18 October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Clarke-Samuel, 41, also pleaded guilty to an additional charge of driving his BMW M5 dangerously in London before the fatal incident.
