LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil has confirmed five-time major champion Brooks Koepka “is signed for 2026”, but could not confirm whether he will remain on the league past next season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
O’Neil confirmed Koepka<\/a>‘s LIV Golf status for 2026 during an interview with Sports Business Journal’s Josh Carpenter.<\/p>\n Koepka’s initial multi-year deal with LIV Golf<\/a> comes to an end next season.\u00a0<\/p>\n There have been rumours in the industry that Koepka is considering a switch back to the PGA Tour, despite him remaining a suspended player.\u00a0<\/p>\n But all O’Neill could confirm was that Koepka is signed for next season.\u00a0<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n Whether he will move back to the PGA Tour after his deal ends at the end of the 2026 season remains to be seen.\u00a0<\/p>\n One thing is cetain: Koepka remains a LIV Golf player and Smash GC captain entering 2026.<\/p>\n Smash GC is made up of himself, Talor Gooch, Graeme McDowell and Jason Kokrak.\u00a0<\/p>\n “I know you\u2019re not going to want to hear this one, just the individual players, and this goes back to our policy, we\u2019re just going to run it through,” O’Neil told Sports Business Journal<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n “So, we haven\u2019t made any announcements on players, but he [Koepka] is signed for 2026.”<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n Two-time major champion Dustin Johnson<\/a>, 4Aces GC captain, recently confirmed he has extended his deal to remain on LIV Golf.<\/p>\n Talks are reportedly still ongoing between LIV Golf and Bryson DeChambeau<\/a>, but it’s understood the two-time US Open champion and YouTube sensation will remain on the Saudi-bankrolled circuit in 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n It’s understood Koepka and DeChambeau accepted deals in the region of $125m when they first penned deals with LIV Golf in the summer of 2022, while Johnson’s deal was north of that at around $200m.\u00a0<\/p>\n Other superstar signings such as Jon Rahm<\/a> and Tyrrell Hatton<\/a> remain in multi-year deals with LIV Golf having both signed in 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n Rahm and Hatton are still currently waiting to hear back about their appeals over DP World Tour fines for having joined LIV Golf.\u00a0<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n
