When meeting an athlete, it’s only natural to ask them about their career and for top tips in their area of expertise. But every now and then, one of your idols will offer advice unprompted.<\/p>\n
That’s exactly what happened when former UFC star Conor McGregor <\/a>started dishing out boxing<\/a> tips \u2014 but fans can’t help but laugh at who he was sharing his pro tips with. In a video, shared on MMA UK News’s Facebook<\/a> page, McGregor is seen jabbing the air as he walks a table full of people through his technique. Sitting there, however, is American former professional boxer Mike Tyson.<\/a><\/p>\n Commenting on the post, one user said: “When ya had too much sugar and that time when you’re telling Mike Tyson<\/a> how to box.”<\/p>\n Another user said: “Sounds like he was praising Mike Tyson\u2019s boxing skills.”<\/p>\n A third user said: “If your strategy works, why haven’t you fought in 10 years**?**”<\/p>\n One more user added: “Tyson looks like his flabber has been truly gasted.”<\/p>\n It comes after Tyson warned Anthony Joshua not to overlook Jake Paul’s power ahead of their heavyweight showdown.<\/p>\n The former two-time world<\/a> champion is set to make his highly-anticipated return against the YouTuber-turned-boxer on Friday, December 19**,** in Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n Joshua has not fought since his crushing fifth**-**round knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois<\/a> in September 2024.<\/p>\n After more than a year away from the ring, the 36-year-old is planning a big 2026 in the ring, which includes a potential clash with long-time rival Tyson Fury<\/a>.<\/p>\n But first, he must come away unscathed from his dust-up with Paul.<\/p>\n The ‘Problem Child’ was last seen in the ring in June, when he defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.<\/p>\n A natural cruiserweight, Paul has long called for a fight with Joshua. ‘AJ’ may be anticipating an early night at the office, but the Brit has been sent a stern warning by Tyson.<\/p>\n The 59-year-old knows exactly what it’s like to be punched in the face by the boxing novice.
