\t\t\t\tIs Brooks Koepka set for a return to the PGA Tour? The rumor mill is still fired up\u2026 <\/p>\n

No one has faced more scrutiny about their time at LIV Golf than Brooks Koepka.<\/p>\n

The five-time major champion, who is the captain of Smash GC, has faced accusations of having \u201cbuyer\u2019s remorse\u201d on a regular basis since joining the Saudi-funded league in 2022. <\/p>\n

Of course, Koepka himself is the reason for many of those headlines. He has openly admitted in the past that one of the main reasons he made the move was due to ongoing injury concerns and not knowing how much longer he would be able to provide for his family. <\/p>\n

But four years and almost $50 million<\/a> later, that no longer seems to be a sticking point. <\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Fred Couples said Koepka was keen to return to the PGA Tour. Koepka, in turn, responded by simply saying he has a contract to honor<\/a>. <\/p>\n

And that seems to be where we\u2019re at today, though Sports Business Journal\u2018s Josh Carpenter reported<\/a> that four separate sources claimed there\u2019s a possibility Koepka would not be teeing up on LIV Golf in 2026. <\/p>\n

And, as Carpenter\u2019s sources rarely miss, he put the question about Koepka\u2019s future to the league\u2019s CEO, Scott O\u2019Neil.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe haven\u2019t made any announcements on players,\u201d he replied. \u201cBut he is signed for 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

So far, any former LIV player looking to tee up on the PGA Tour has served a one-year ban from the time of last appearance on the league. That means, if Koepka were to leave, he would be eligible to play on the PGA Tour again in August.<\/p>\n
