Releasing in United States theaters in 2027, Man of Tomorrow is directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/james-gunn\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">James Gunn<\/a>. It will see David Corenswet and Nicholas Holt reprise their respective roles as Clark Kent\/Superman and Lex Luthor.<\/p>\n<p>After much speculation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/man-of-tomorrow-villain-brainiac-superman-sequel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">TheWrap<\/a> reported last month that Brainiac will be the main antagonist in Man of Tomorrow. There\u2019s been much chatter and online rumors fluttering around regarding who might play the villain in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/dcu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DCU<\/a> movie, with Matt Smith\u2019s name being one that has come up frequently; however, no casting has been officially announced at this time.<\/p>\n<p>What is the rumored Man of Tomorrow cast update?<\/p>\n<p>According to scooper <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GraceRandolph\/status\/1997297555882025259\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Grace Randolph<\/a>, the person who is currently the frontrunner in Man of Tomorrow is \u201csomeone Gunn has worked with before, quite a bit.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/dave-bautista\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dave Bautista<\/a>\u2019s name comes up frequently in the comments under the post, though other guesses include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/chris-pratt\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Pratt<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/Chukwudi-Iwuji\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chukwudi Iwuji<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is just a rumor, and it should be treated as such at this time. Gunn has not publicly commented on the matter of Brainiac\u2019s casting, but he has been disapprovingly outspoken about Randolph\u2019s reporting in the past. <\/p>\n<p>Man of Tomorrow will be released in United States theaters on July 9, 2027.
