President Donald Trump plans to \u201ccampaign like it\u2019s 2024 again\u201d during the upcoming 2026 midterm elections, according to his chief of staff, Susie Wiles.<\/p>\n

Wiles explained Trump\u2019s strategy during a recent appearance on the podcast The Mom View.<\/p>\n

\u201cTypically, in the midterms, it\u2019s not about who\u2019s sitting at the White House,\u201d Wiles said. \u201cYou localize the election, and you keep the federal officials out of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re actually going to turn that on its head and put him on the ballot because so many of those low propensity voters are Trump voters,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has responded to President Donald Trump\u2019s recent Truth Social<\/a> post, in which he called her a \u201ctraitor\u201d and a \u201cvery dumb person.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel very sorry for President Trump. I genuinely do,\u201d Greene told CNN on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has to be a hard place for someone that is constantly so hateful, and puts so much vitriol, name-calling and really tells lies about people to try to get his way or win some kind of fight,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Trump shared his Truth Social<\/a> post in response to Greene\u2019s recent \u201c60 Minutes\u201d interview, her first since she announced her resignation from Congress.<\/p>\n

During that interview, Greene told CBS News correspondent Lesley Stahl that Republicans had mocked Trump behind his back.<\/p>\n

This comes after Trump signed an executive order earlier this year seeking to end birthright citizenship<\/a>, which is guaranteed under the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The order has since been challenged in court.<\/p>\n

The Supreme Court announced last week <\/a>that it will hear Trump\u2019s appeal of a lower court\u2019s decision striking down his order. A ruling is expected in early summer. <\/p>\n
