Jamie Carragher has been branded a \u201cdisgrace\u201d for his comments about Mohamed Salah by former Premier League star Ahmed Elmohamady \u2013 but the\u00a0Liverpool legend has now apologised.<\/p>\n
The Reds forward chose to speak to reporters after their 3-3 draw against Leeds United on Saturday to voice his displeasure at his current situation at Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n Salah insisted that he\u2019d been \u201cthrown under the bus\u201d<\/a> by the club and that his relationship with Liverpool head coach Arne Slot was now broken.<\/p>\n Slot and the Reds hierarchy took the joint decision to drop the Egypt international from the Liverpool squad for their 1-0 win over Inter Milan on Tuesday night<\/a>.<\/p>\n It now remains to be seen whether his punishment will continue into their Premier League clash with Brighton at the weekend with Fabrizio Romano insisting that Liverpool will now \u201creassess the situation\u201d.<\/p>\n Romano said on his YouTube channel:\u00a0\u201cOne of the major stories today is the situation of\u00a0Mo Salah. As expected, Salah has not travelled with Liverpool to face Inter. This decision was never made by the player. After those strong statements, they decided to exclude him from this match.<\/p>\n \u201cFor Brighton, it depends on what happens in the next days. Salah is not out of the squad on a permanent basis. He is out for the Inter game only. Liverpool will reassess the situation afterwards.<\/p>\n \u201cSalah has shared an Instagram story showing him working in the gym. His message is clear: he was not involved in the decision to stay out of the squad, and he wants to play. But Liverpool\u2019s reaction is also clear.
