A new poster for Supergirl<\/a> has been released.<\/p>\n

DC Studios<\/a> and Warner Bros. Pictures<\/a>\u2019 Supergirl will be released in United States theaters and IMAX next summer. Directed by Craig Gillespie<\/a>, the movie will see Milly Alcock<\/a> reprise her role as Kara Zor-El\/Supergirl. The character briefly appeared at the end of 2025\u2019s Superman<\/a>, which was directed by James Gunn<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What does the Supergirl poster look like?<\/p>\n

On Twitter<\/a>, Gunn has shared a new poster for Supergirl, which comes with the tagline, \u201cTruth. Justice. Whatever.\u201d The poster is being unveiled ahead of the forthcoming Supergirl, which will be released this week.<\/p>\n

Supergirl is an adaptation of Tom King and Bilquis Evely\u2019s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow miniseries. The solicitation for the series\u2019 first issue reads, \u201cKara Zor-El has seen some epic adventures over the years, but finds her life without meaning or purpose. Here she is, a young woman who saw her planet destroyed and was sent to Earth to protect a baby cousin who ended up not needing her. What was it all for? Wherever she goes, people only see her through the lens of Superman\u2019s fame. Just when Supergirl thinks she\u2019s had enough, everything changes. An alien girl seeks her out for a vicious mission. Her world has been destroyed, and the bad guys responsible are still out there. She wants revenge, and if Supergirl doesn\u2019t help her, she\u2019ll do it herself, whatever the cost. Now a Kryptonian, a dog, and an angry, heartbroken child head out into space on a journey that will shake them to their very core.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to Alcock, the cast of the DCU<\/a> movie includes Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, Jason Momoa as Lobo, and Ferdinand Kingsley as Elias Knoll.<\/p>\n
