Last Saturday, O’Shaquie Foster captured the WBC interim lightweight title, beating Stephen Fulton by a wide 12-round unanimous decision in San Antonio, Texas.

Immediately upon winning the WBC interim belt, Foster (24-3, 12 KOs) called out Shakur, letting him know that he wanted to fight him. In reaction to Foster’s callout, Stevenson told him that he wouldn’t fight him until he faced super featherweight Ray Ford. There’s a very good chance Stevenson would get beaten.

Ken Woods has been a senior writer at Boxing News 24 since 2013, covering the sport from every angle.
