\u201cAmericans don\u2019t want us, European leaders don\u2019t want us, Kyiv doesn\u2019t want us \u2014 so who does?\u201d former Prime Minister Leszek Miller said<\/a> after the London talks. \u201cSomething unpleasant is happening, and we should stop pretending otherwise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former President Bronis\u0142aw Komorowski, a political ally of Tusk, argued that Poland\u2019s absence reflected geopolitical realities, not diplomatic failure.\u00a0<\/p>\n

London brought together \u201cthe three strongest European countries\u201d \u2014 politically, militarily and economically \u2014 the ones contributing the most to Ukraine\u2019s war effort, he said. Poland, he added, \u201cis simply weaker,\u201d and while Europe values Warsaw\u2019s role, it must be \u201cin line with its real weight.\u201d<\/p>\n
