He was among a group of Boks who finished the season with a 100% win-record.

While injury and suspension curtailed his involvement in the early stages of the Test schedule, the powerful No.8 started seven of South Africa’s last eight Tests.

His return from suspension in September coincided with the second Test against the All Blacks, in Wellington, which the Boks went on to win by a record-breaking 33-point margin.

Kriel is ranked No.53 and has been one of the most used players in an ever-changing Springboks line-up over the past two seasons. He remains one of their most important figures in defence.

Captain Kolisi comes in at No.49.

He has led the team 72 times and is closing in on Smit’s record of 83.

Having led them to five straight wins on tour recently, Kolisi (74%) has surpassed Teichmann (72%) in terms of his success-rate.

See the ranking from 60 to 41 below:

* You can now view the list and the explanations, as Rugbypass gradually releases more players: Top 100 Men’s Rugby Players 2025.

60 – George Ford
59 – Tommaso Menoncello
58 – Ellis Genge
57 – Jasper Wiese
56 – Juan Cruz Mallia
55 – Peato Mauvaka
54 – Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii
53 – Jesse Kriel
52 – Gregory Alldritt
51 – Codie Taylor
50 – Santiago Carreras
49 – Siya Kolisi
48 – Juan Martin Gonzalez
47 – Henry Pollock
46 – Tomas Albornoz
45 – Jac Morgan
44 – James Lowe
43 – Caleb Clarke
42 – Fabian Holland
41 – Tommy Freeman

Also Read:

Top 100 Men’s Players: Bok duo make first cut
Top 100 Men’s Players: Bok duo joins Barrett in second batch

SPOTLIGHT: Springbok captain Siya Kolisi has entered the discussion after RugbyPass revealed the latest list in their Top…

[35
5903,101,56,54,55
0":"post-310327","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-rugby","8":"tag-rugby","9":"tag-sports","10":"tag-uk","11":"tag-united-kingdom","12":"tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
