Emmerdale have teased a huge return for two big characters – John Sugden and Kev Townsend. The last time we saw Kev, he was being pushed out of the village by Nicola, who was protecting Lewis on finding out the truth.<\/p>\n
It was recently revealed that Lewis is the son of Kev and Emma Barton<\/a>, with Nicola desperate to protect Lewis from the truth about both of his parents. John Sugden also made a huge exit from the village a few months back, escaping justice for what he did to Aaron Dingle, when he pulled him off the cliff and blamed it on Robert Sugden.<\/p>\n Kev’s arrival also caused a stir for Robert when it was revealed that the pair were married – just as Aaron and his former lover decided to give it a go and reunite, thrilling fans who had waited years for the reunion.<\/p>\n However, it looks like Kev and John’s stories are not quite done, with eagle-eyed fans noticing a change to the ITVX Emmerdale<\/a> banner, with bosses seemingly teasing these two characters weren’t gone for good.<\/p>\n The new picture shows Robert and Aaron front and centre, with greyed out pictures of Kev and John behind them. Are both of their husbands back to cause trouble – or is it all part of an elaborate nightmare for Robron?<\/p>\n Danny Miller recently teased:<\/a> “They don’t know who is doing these malicious things. They assume Ross because of the row over Seb, but I certainly don’t think they think it’s John. I think they think possibly it could be Kev, but not John.”<\/p>\n Robert soon finds out who’s to blame though, with Danny teasing: “He doesn’t share it with him straight away, because I think he feels as though he can deal with this situation without adding stress to Aaron’s life.<\/p>\n “I think Robert and Aaron are at a point together where they genuinely think it’s over. And naively believe they can just crack on with being together, because Kev is no more, John is no more, therefore everybody can live happily ever after.”<\/p>\n Asked about their future, he added: “I think, given everything they’ve been through, this is another, minor bump in the road that they need to get over. I think they’ll be okay, but you never know. There’s always something around the corner to challenge them. There has to be a breaking day one day. I just hope it’s not any day soon.”<\/p>\n The course of true love never does run smooth on a soap…<\/p>\n Like this story?
