\n On Thursday, December 11, Cumbrians woke up to the ‘amazing’ sunrise which painted the county’s sky in fiery colours.\n<\/p>\n
\n The sunrise was captured by photographers from across the county, including members of the News & Star’s Camera Club who commented on the sky’s rich colours.\n<\/p>\n

\n One Carlisle resident even compared the sunrise to something seen in Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things.\n<\/p>\n
\n Sarah Bragg, who captured the sunrise over Wigton said: “Amazing sunrise over Wigton this morning.”\n<\/p>\n

\n Carlisle’s John Tyson said: “Not the most picturesque of photos, but wow what a sky.”\n<\/p>\n
