In a new post, the supermodel gets real about her age and how she doesn\u2019t always look camera-ready. \u201cThis is me. Vacation, pretty light, posing for a shot. This is also me. Home, not great light, not posing. This is 60. This is 60 years of sometimes healthy eating, sometimes not. 60 years of sometimes working out, sometimes not. 60 years of doing the right things followed by doing the wrong things and over again and again. It\u2019s 60 years of learning of what works and what doesn\u2019t. And just as I think I\u2019ve figured it out, everything changes and I have to start again. The beauty of 60 is that now I understand the importance is IN the lesson, not passing the exam,\u201d she captioned the set of Instagram snaps. How does she maintain her fantastic physique? Here are her top diet and fitness habits.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina always encourages women to love themselves by paying many compliments, which her friends call \u201cher superpower,\u201d she revealed in a post. \u201cEveryone always thinks I get nothing but compliments all day long. So my friends and lovers, making the assumption I know and hear it all the time, very rarely give me one. I understand how it feels to be told by someone that you are beautiful to them. And the opposite. So I make a point of complimenting others,\u201d she said in the post. Is it shallow? Is it superficial? Maybe. But who cares when the result is a heartfelt smile and a little extra bounce in the step. Every woman is beautiful in her own and unique way. Why not celebrate it?\u201d She also refuses to listen to body shamers. \u201cBody shaming is so last decade. Let\u2019s celebrate who we are, wrinkles and imperfections and all,\u201d she added in an Instagram caption after a troll tried to slam her for being too thin.df44d9eab23ea271ddde7545ae2c09ec<\/p>\n<p>Paulina isn\u2019t a supporter of diet culture. She stays in shape by eating clean and healthy food, for the most part. \u201cI live reasonably clean- don\u2019t much enjoy processed foods, but love a variety and do love my cakes,\u201d she wrote in a recent <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CDwp-eYhL6P\">Instagram post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina enjoys exercise in moderation. \u201cI started exercising when I was 40. I never did anything before that. Just cigarettes and poor nutrition. I could eat whatever I wanted because I smoked. Cindy [Crawford] would be there sweating and working out, and she had a fabulous body that she worked for and I was just like, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s stupid.\u2019 I had a good time being unhealthy for a while, but then you pay for it,\u201d she told <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.elle.com\/beauty\/q-and-a\/a29650\/paulina-porizkova-beauty-secrets\/\">Elle<\/a>. Now, she works out \u201cat least three times a week- sometimes less, sometimes more,\u201d she revealed on Instagram. \u201cI found out if I worked out every day my anxiety was kept a lot at bay. And I felt better. So how great is that?\u201d she added to Elle.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina is a big fan of dancing. \u201cI still dance. I\u2019ve done boxing. I\u2019ve done rowing. You name it, I\u2019ve done it. Except for running. I don\u2019t like running. It doesn\u2019t feel good to me. It feels bad on my knees,\u201d she told Elle. \u201cI\u2019d rather do Zumba. And Bollywood dancing is a great way to get the aerobic part done. I do some really hard rowing classes. It\u2019s become something that\u2019s like brushing my teeth. It\u2019s something I have to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paulina loves pilates, revealing in a recent Instagram post that the Nofar Method, a New York City based studio, is her favorite. According to <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3666467\/\">research,<\/a> Pilates exercises are designed to increase muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility, and to improve posture and balance. Experts maintain that it is a great workout for leaning out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt ashamed to be aging, and then on the other hand you go, \u2018But, I\u2019m smarter, I\u2019m better, I\u2019m funnier, I\u2019m more patient!\u2019 Overall as a person, I\u2019m the best I\u2019ve ever been. So I\u2019m not ready to be dismissed,\u201d Paulina explained to <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/style\/paulina-porizkova-expresses-feelings-on-ageism-in-the-modeling-industry-you-dont-get-to-dismiss-me\/\">PEOPLE<\/a> about why she posts so much about aging. \u201cYou don\u2019t get to dismiss me because I have some wrinkles and sags and gray hair now, when I\u2019m kind of fabulous, the most fabulous I\u2019ve ever been. In fact, I\u2019m going to just put it out there and go, you know what, this is me at my best.
