Crypto wallet Trust Wallet<\/a> has integrated Revolut<\/a> as a payment provider, enabling users to fund their wallets instantly and buy crypto across Europe, Trust Wallet said in an announcement<\/a> on its website.<\/p>\n

In a Thursday (Dec. 11) post<\/a> on X, Trust Wallet said the integration enables Revolut users to buy crypto directly in Trust Wallet.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo trusted brands. One seamless onramp,\u201d the company said in its post.<\/p>\n

According to the announcement, Trust Wallet\u2019s self-custody wallet has more than 200 million users, and Revolut\u2019s financial app has 65 million users.<\/p>\n

With the integration, Revolut is now available on Trust Wallet across the European Economic Area (EEA), and the new feature works with Revolut-supported fiat currencies.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor customers in Europe, funding your wallet has often meant juggling apps, fees and waiting times,\u201d the announcement said. It added that Revolut on Trust Wallet changes that by enabling instant purchases as well as 0% fees when Revolut Pay is used as a payment method.<\/p>\n

The new feature is powered by Revolut Ramp<\/a>, per the announcement. Revolut Ramp enables traders to purchase crypto directly in their wallets, according to a Revolut press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is the latest of several partnerships and products around crypto that have been launched by Revolut.<\/p>\n

The company said in November that it began offering users the ability to swap between stablecoins<\/a> and fiat currency. The company said users can switch between U.S. dollars and Tether\u2019s USDT or Circle\u2019s USDC at a 1:1 rate, with \u201cno spreads\u201d and \u201cstraight-up price matching.\u201d<\/p>\n

In May, Revolut teamed up with cryptocurrency infrastructure firm Lightspark<\/a> to speed bitcoin transactions<\/a> in Europe and the United Kingdom. The integration lets Revolut tap into Lightspark\u2019s Lightning Network-based payment protocol for near-instant bitcoin transfers.<\/p>\n

The company launched a stand-alone cryptocurrency exchange<\/a> for professional traders in May 2024, saying Revolut X is designed to compete with other top exchanges by offering easy on- and off-ramping and low fees.<\/p>\n
